| Description: Join us for a week of hands-on woodworking at our Summer Day Camp, running from 9:00am–3:00pm and hosted by Grace Baptist Church Simcoe! This exciting camp is designed for students, grades 7-9, who want to learn new skills, work with real tools, and create unique woodworking projects to take home. Throughout the week, campers will be guided through safe tool use, woodworking techniques, and creative project-building in a fun and encouraging environment. Whether you’re brand new to woodworking or already love building, this camp is a great opportunity to learn, create, and grow! At the beginning of each day, we start with “Shop Talk,” a 15–20 minute discussion about real-life topics and how they relate to God. This portion is optional, and campers are welcome to join in after the discussion if they prefer. Details:
Location: Students will be dropped off and picked up from Grace Baptist Church - Simcoe, 735 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y 3R6 After drop off students will walk over to the shop location down the street with their leaders. |
